The moment i met KK, the top bollywood singer!

Me and KK met today thru VEDHA from Radio one at around 10.30am in the morning (sunday)
Vedha had to actually record voice over and an interview of KK. Just after that was done, these were the important things that happnd:

1. Me explaining KK about Kannada Film industry and how external talents are making FAME in Kannada. I explained him how local talent also get improved if singers like him show more love towards kannada, instead of just tamil and telugu. I explained him that, if singers like him sing and the song becomes hit, there would be 5 more movies made in that josh by different people, out of which in atleast 2 of them new local talent would get a chance in some or the other field. So my concern was that, he shud try singing in kannada more. and it shud be a WIN-WIN situation for both Local talent and Great talent like him. and also maja for people like us

2. He asked me to sing some kannada songs.. I sang songs like MUNGARU MALE of sonu nigam and i told him Sonu nigam has become a great singer in kannada these days and there is news that he is even planning to release his own Kannada album. So he replied saying he met Sonu just 2 days back and he was also expressing a similar feel.

3.He asked me to sing Mungaru Male title track again for him. He said Wah Wah. Kya baat hain! and he told guys like me should meet “Gurukiran” and “Hamsalekha” and come up. So, I asked him how does he know those names. He replied saying, He has sung one song for Guru and one for Hamsalekha. He had forgotten which song.. but he only remembered the name of the movie which gurukiran gave music. it was “NEWS” … (uppi starrer movie). He asked me, how well did that movie go.. and all that.. It was a casual talk when it came to this

4. We then spoke about, is CLASSICAL training really necessary to grow up to his height in music. It was later concluded that its not a necessity and it might just help you in thinking theoritically and also expressing what you want to other musicians. He revealed that even he doesnt have any such TRAINING in music. I replied back saying, Even i dont have all that training but i sing . He replied saying., Your voice is more melodious than that of mine!. I was a bit elated and flatterred after listening to this dialogue!

5. Apart from this, it was just casual talk related to his new album Humsafar, his songs Ajab si, Tadap Radap, Kya mujhe pyaar hain, His Family and why he prefers singing less songs in bollywood. He just wants to spend more time in concerts, albums and family. Thats the reason i guess.
